Taillights out/ Beeping noise

I'm blowing the 15amp fuse in the engine bay for the taillights. I also have the beeping noise as if the lights are left on. But lights are off, key out of ignition, etc. I've checked all the bulbs and wires and they look good. I recently changed dash. I'm wondering where everyone is finding their wires that are shorting out or if anyone else had any ideas. Expecially on the beeping. Thanks

Start where you last left off. Since you messed with the dash, it most likely will be there. Are you blowing the fuse everytime you turn on the tail lights/headlights? Or whenever you press the brake?

I'm most positive its somewhere at the dash. I've taken the center console out and gotten the lights to work. Thinking it was my cigarette lighter, but I go for a drive and it shorts out again. So yes, I've gotten the lights to stay on. I am going to take the console out and get the lights to work and drive around. Maybe then, I can see if anything is touching....But to regards to the beeping noise that I have. I don't think it is related to the short, but I get the beeping as if the lights are left on. But nothing is on. Could it be a possible faulty door ajar switch? I know if I play with it I can make the beep go off as if the door was closed. Any thoughts?

So I got the tail lights to not short for a good month. But now I'm back at screw one. Keeps blowing fuses again. But I'll figure that out....My main question is with the buzzing noise. I can't seem to figure out what is making the buzzing to go off. No lights on, no key in the ignition, etc. Goes off once the door is open. Seems like it only does it for the driver side. Any ideas?
