1G Tachometer doesn't work, everything else does?

I put it a new gauge cluster and my rpm gauge doesn't move. My boost gauge acts almost like the rpm gauge but won't go above 0. Everything else works though just wondered if anyone had any thoughts.

Just stock 92 talon tsi manual. repuilding it from junk.

What exactly do you have the tach wired to?

did you disconnect the battery before you put it in? dont go buy a another one just yet though. I bought 3 and I still dont have a tach that works. On one cluster the tach worked every other time I started the car.

do you have a 1990 ECU? if so you will need to swap pins 6 and 14 for you tach to work right.
