Ok so here is the deal and yes i searched. After my motor build my tach did not work. I know it gets it signal from the PT, well there is no real way to check it so i replaced it with a known working unit and guess what it still don't work. Is there something else besides the PT and the ecu that the tach gets it's signal ? I do not want to have to run a "BIG" tach off of the ecu.

I still have to try and see if i can tap into the tach wire off of the ecu to see if i have power coming from it with a "MONSTER TACH" that my friend droped off.

Any ideas would be great. it's kind of a pita to use link as a tach.

*Update*
Ok so I checked to see if I had power coming from pin 58 engine ignition signal ( I used a tach to check) and I got nothing. the needle would move a little bit when I turned the key on and that's it. What I do not understand is in dsmlink I have rpm signal ? but yet my tach does not work nor can I get a tach to work going right off pin 58. I am 100% stumped.
