Anyone experience fitment issues when putting a big T4 turbo on a 2g? I was told by someone that the alternator will be in the way of the o2 housing/downpipe with my manifold. Is there a way to relocate the alternator where the ac goes on a 2g or am I going to need another manifold? I have the manifold on the bottom of Buschur's page.

Thanks

Buschur also sells an alternator relo kit if you remove the A/C. $150 I think.

as many time as I have had to repalce the alternator I dont want it any harder to get to

Yeah, the alternator relocation kit is for the 1g. I heard the chasi is in the way for the 2g. That is why I was asking on here.

I had fitment issues with the turbonetics manifold with my t04s 60-1..I couldnt even mount the manifold on there straight with the turbo. The turbo would also rub up against the block. But i sold it and got a dnp and now it fits perfect :thumb:

You could have used a spacer plate and longer studs for it to fit on there. I might have to buy a DNP manifold since I don't know what to do with this one. I posted in the buschur tech forum and no one from buschur responded. I might be SOL on the cast manifold from them :(

How are you going to get that to work? Just leave it as it sits? There is a 1g alt relocation kit you could buy. It wont work for the 2g though.
