so im thinking about getting a new t3/t4 turbo kit. and also a new down pipe and manifold. but i was wondering do i need to get new injectors and fuel pump? from my understanding the t3/t4 is bigger than the evo III big 16g and people have some problems with that some times. so if anyone has put the t3/t4 what did you put in as far as injectors and fuel pump?

I'm running a T3/To4e setup (60trim) with 255 walbro pump and 880 pte injectors.
IDC at 80ish % at 25 psi.
What are you using for tuning? SAFC is not going to cut it.

Some are, some aren't.

Most of the eBay junk T3/T4 hybrids use a compressor wheel that measures approximately the same as a 46-trim Garrett. This is slightly bigger than an Evo III 16G, but much laggier in comparison and doesn't really provide enough additional airflow to benefit from the added lag.

A 16G is still a better turbo for our cars, and has a relatively stock fitment even for a 2G.

Im not an expert on .50 trims....
A 1/2 trim turbo doesn't exist. :p

We have to stop reading the eBay ads which describe these turbos....the sellers don't even know what turbo trim is. They're referring to the Area / Radius spec on the compressor cover, which is .50 for a T04B, .60 for a T04E, and .70 for a T04S/H.

Come on though don't you love those guys who like to boast about their cars? And when you ask them what turbo they go "Its wanna dem T3/T4 turbos" ah.....what size? "a big one" and their ebay powered car blows up in a week ROFL.

Well a 16g would be alot easier just bolts right up. On a T3/T4 ,your gonna spend some money. You'll need manifold, wastegate, oil and return lines, different down pipe ect. I wish i would have gone that route sometimes especially when it comes to lag. But then again my turbo pulls like a freight train on top end:hellyeah:
