t25 running 20+lbs?

After recently installing a 1g bov and removing my cat I noticed that when I floor it my boost spikes to 20+ lbs and holds steady at 17-18lbs up until about 6000 rpms where it drops to 15 lbs. I was just wondering if this was safe to run or if there is a problem causing the boost spike? all of my mods are listed in my profile so if you need to know my setup please just look.
 
Thats just stupid, the 14b is out of its range at 20 psi. A t25 psi max is 15-16. Everything else is hot air.
 
Just try to get rid of the boost spike. Is your boost source close to the turbo like stock or moved to the intake? The closer to the turbo the less it will spike. It shouldn't really spike at all, especially since you don't have a MBC. You don't need a MBC to adjust your boost anyways really, you can just use something to restrict how much air is bled off from the T. I've ran pretty much every boost level up to around 21psi without a boost controller on my talon, and on a friends' laser with no issue.
If what your asking is where is my boost source for my gauge come from then I T'd into the stock fuel pressure regulator line (I think thats what its called) I followed the procedure on the VFAQ, and I dont understand how a MBC will help, if that was the case couldnt I just run a vacum line from my compressor nipple straight to the wastegate?:confused:

I said its SPIKING at 20 lbs not running constantly at that. Its holding steady at 16-17lbs. The reason for the catchy title is to get replies bc no one responded to my last thread:thumb:
