I just bought a used T25 with only a little shaft play side to side (none in and out). I just needed to know, what gaskets I should get, where I can get them, if there is anything else I need to get other than gaskets, and I was also curious what that long pipe attached to the turbo is. Usually when I see turbos for sale they dont have the pipe that came on mine. Also, whats the best way to clean it to make it look nicer when its put on?

its NOT a t25. hell maybe it's a 13b??? check out some of the forums and take a look at some 13b's or something. jusmx (sp?) can tell you what it is. he is a turbo wiseman.

thats not a t25 my friend.. thats the 13b off the A/T 1g DSM's to the best of my knowledge..

What were you going to put it on? And how much did you pay for it?

Also are there any identifying numbers on the housing?

That is not a dsm turbo. Has a t-3 flange/ hot side. Could have came off a dsm but it isnt a factory bolt on for sure.

I only paid $40 for it so its not a huge loss by any means, I just dont want a turbo lying around and not have anything to do with it. I just need a t25/14b turbo for my 2g FWD TSI. Maybe next time i'll do more research, but I thought it was a deal and jumped too soon :(

Also, there are no markings on the turbo.
