After about a couple days of working on this for the first time, I finally got everything done. Old turbo out, new turbo in. I hooked up all the lines and put everything back. I primed the turbo for about 20 seconds, took out for a spin. When I got back, I noticed there was A LOT of smoke and leaking. It appears to be oil, not sure what. I'm thinking I should just have it looked at and see. I really don't want to break down the turbo just to fix something small. Any ideas what could be happening? It's leaking from the intake side of the turbo, exhaust side looks fine and very dry.

My guess is the oil feed line running from the cold side (intake) of your turbo into your oil filter housing. That's just a guess, but if you posted some pictures maybe it would be a lot easier to determine.

A friend and I swapped out his tiny25 on his 95' and put a t28 in it's place. We found a monster leak coming from the banjo (I think that's what it's called) fitting that goes into the turbo for the oil feed.

PS: I don't have a lot of experience with a 2g, but that might be the case!
