Anybody know what a T04 46 Trim turbo compares to? On all the dsm sites that sells turbo's I only see them start out at a 50 trim. How does this turbo compare to a 50 trim or compare to a 20G turbo? I trying to do a fast spooling turbo for an automatic car. And was told this turbo is the way to go because it will have no compressor surge. Please only reply to the post if you really know.

If I recall correctly, that's what they used in the Frank 2. I had one, and it was a slow spooling pig. I later went to a Green and it spooled faster and trapped 4mph faster at the same boost, with zero changes to the VPC. It's about the size of a 20g, but a 20g will spool waaay quicker.

A stage 3/46 trim can easily make 420whp. It would spool faster than the frank 2 mentioned above. Its a popular combo to mr2 crowd. But I would second getting a nice 20g. The tdo6 wheel in the 7cm never really worked that great. The td06h works better.
