I have seen several posts about the T04B and it sounds awesome!!!!! But i like 2 pull up next 2 a mustang gt or comaro ss. Will this beast spool fast enough to smoke them off the line????? and will someone please tell me if it is ball bearing and i think it is but im just not sure?

Thanx guys

According to dave at Bullseye the t04b gets 15-20psi by 3,500RPM hope that helps but remember everyones setup is different so you will get different spool times

If you want to smoke them off the line, launch at 4500RPM and feather the clutch. Then, spool really isn't an issue.

Well now that i know that does anyone know where i can get a balla bearing turbo???

www.forcedperformance.net sells the FP3052 and the FP3065. Both are ball-bearing Garrett/Mitsu hybrid turbos. I believe www.agpturbo.com and www.slowboyracing.com also have some ball-bearing DSM-flanged turbos.

If you don't want something that big (or expensive), you can get a Garrett-flanged exhaust manifold and buy any GT-R series turbo (ie, the GT28R). A GT28R is basically a ball-bearing T-28.

On a personal note, I've seen your other threads on this, and it seems to me you're a little overconcerned with spool time. Unless you're autocrossing, you don't need it. You're going to spend a lot of money, and not see too much difference in performance.

The main reason for the need of ball bearing turbo is that i was reading about this rally styler semi surge that u can do with the greddy type s BOV. its supposed to give me more boost between shifts. does this really work?
