I was doing a boost leak test the other day and realized I have a fairly good sized boost leak from the compressor housing where it clamps to the back plate. My questions are is this normal, or is it something to be concerned about? What would cause this? And how can I go about fixing it? Any advice would be appreciated, I have never had one of these turbos apart, I'm familiar with how turbos work in general, but I don't know any particulars about the parts break down of these turbos.

Thanks dsm-onster, this is exactly the thread I was looking for but couldn't seem to find. Well I guess its to the garage to pull the turbo off. That sucks but its a lesson learned if I buy another turbo I check it for leaks before bolting everything down.
