T-Belt Help!

I had a local shop do my timing belt when it was needed and when i got it back whenever i started the car after not driving it for a little while or when it was cold it would squeak and then stop. I took it up there they said they fixed it and now its been fine for a few weeks. But, now its starting again. It's totally embarassing , anyone else ever had the same problem? Isn't there a spray or lube you can buy at an auto parts store that you can put on the belts? Thanks

i dont think the timing belt should be making any noise... and puting a lubricant on it not such a great idea either. its got to be a different belt.

You might need to tension your accesory belts. These belts had to come off to change the timing belt, so try loosening, or tightening them to make the squeaking go away.

There is such thing as belt dressing that is meant to be sprayed on belt to prevent sqeeking and squeeling, but it is for belts such as power steering, and alternator belts. NEVER use lube on your timing belt.
