Ok I have a blown 14b on the car now. Chipped exhaust turbine and hitting compressor housing. I bought a used 16g and it had some shaft play so went to change the bearings and the damn shaft broke right after the threads. I need something to put on the car ASAP. Can I pull the shaft out of a t-25 and stick it in the 16g turbo as a temp fix? I just want to know if it is the same wheel/shaft?

No, their different. the t25's compressor and turbin wheel are so small compared to the 14b and 16g.

Did you look at the thread pattern on the shafting before you loosen the bolt? Im guesseing you did not. the shafting on some of the turbo's have opposite thread pattern. if you loosen it, you have to go tightening direction.

Absolutely not.

Different overall length, different shaft O.D., different wheel size (wouldn't fit the housing). You're basically asking if you can put a 350 Chevy crankshaft in your 4G63.

Am I missing something? Instead of swaping shafts just use the 13g for a temp until a 16g can be purchased. Yes its smaller and it won't make as much power but if your looking for a temporary fix and short on time ther isn't much of an option.
