I already have front and rear struts bars on my 1g and it really helped alot, tightened it up and made it not lean into corners as much and was impressed. I hear struts bars arent as effective on awd dsm though? But I know sway bars would be the best upgrade for this , anyone know who carries them cheapest? And I would like to hear any experiences from ppl with fwd that have tried sway bars, because ive only heard the awd guys talk about them so far.And Ive never owned a aftermarket sway bar set up on any car ive owned.

( I know what sway bars do and their purpose just need more like a product review. )

I love my stock front bar and suspension techniques rear bar setup on my car. A little extra camber up front and full stiff on the bar and she handles nice and neutral. With the rear agx's at 6 the rear has been known to step out a little bit when cold or in bad weather, but keeping the rear shocks at 1 while driving daily helps keep that under control. If you're driving it daily I might not go full stiff on the bar, maybe just the middle setting and keep the rear shocks soft too. A little understeer is good on the highway as it's much more predictable.

ok , thanks for the info so its better with softer rear shocks? And the fronts? What suspension set up are you using though as far as springs/shocks. Did you add strut bars to your car or was that an experience without them?

What I'm saying is that it's better to leave the rear end a little softer than max stiff while driving. One of my friends just found out the hardway that a car that rotates well at autox speeds can become dangerous at 80mph.

At the track this is the exact setup I run, not that it's the best or anything.
Springs - Eibach Sportlines
Shocks - AGX F-1, R-6
Swaybars- front stock, rear ST bar full stiff
Camber - crashbolts at full negative
wheels and tires - 16x7 Enkei RF1's and 205/55-16 Falken Azenis RT-215's @ 42psi
Strut bars - Megan Racing front and rear

Honestly I can't say I felt any difference with the strut tower bars, but I've already payed for them so I may as well leave them on.

first are sway bars worth it for a fwd car and does anyone actually make sway bars for a 1g fwd and how difficult is the install?
