Ok so I bought new end links for my sway bar and I cannot for the life of me get the old ones out...I put a wrench(14mm) on the nut and it just spins won't come loose so I saw there was another nut on the other side so I held it too and tried to turn the outside nut and it just spun...I tried using an air wrench and I held the inside nut and it ate the teeth off the inside nut so I can't hold it...how can I remove these to put new ones in??

They're not fun to replace on almost any car...but i usually use a good size pair of vise grips on the inner side and use a wrench to remove the nut. Good luck

Hold the stripped nut with vise grips and take the nut off the other side with a socket. If no luck still, then I would concider cutting it off. You should be able to get them off with the vise grips though.

My Sway bar endlink allows me to put another 14mm wrench on the inside to stop it from spinning. Have you checked yours to see if yours is the same?

yes i used two 14mm's but as previously stated there are no teeth left on the inside one for the wrench to hold...should i remove the entire sway bar to get these cut off or are they accessable some how on the car? if i have to remove the sway bar what all is envolved in that? how do i take it off?

If it's a rear swaybar, then just break or cut the endlinks anywhere and take the whole bar off the car to work on. If it's a front bar, then you need to cut the studs off the endlinks with the bar still on the car, since removing/installing front bars on a 2G is a major PITA.

If you end up cutting the studs off the endlinks with a Dremel and emery cut-off wheels, my estimate is that it will take at least 12 disks per side. (Don't ask me how I know; figure it out.)
