I pulled the front sway bar (RM Racing) to have more access to the the steering rack. When I looked at the bushings they were wore out and almost split all the way across, on the flat side of the bushing. I have had these on the car for a while and I understand that things wear out.

I am looking to make sure that I didn't do anything wrong or need to change anything when I get the replacements in. IE. - did I over tighten the bracket, not tight enough, not enough grease, etc..

No you probably didn't do anything wrong; this is normal, they wear out relatively quickly compared to stock.

The only thing you might have done wrong is to not grease the bushings when you installed them, but that's it.

Prothane sells suitable replacements for the RM Racing bushings.

Thanks for the quick reply.

I greased them pretty well, from what I remember, so I guess it was just times toll on them. Now, I just need to remember where I put the ones that came with the Prothane Total Kit (I think it had the swaybar bushings).
