I've been lurking a bit, and I see a lot of people swapping different parts from 2g to 1g and vice versa. For a performance minded person, what 2g parts would be better on a 1g car?

And, I'll go ahead and say skip the 2g Exhaust Manifold. I know people recommend it over the crack prone 1g Manifold. This winter my car will stay stock, but I'm planning a large hoard of parts. Because next spring, I'll be pulling the motor out of this car, and finding a donor car for her. I'm planning a 2g shell, simply because I prefer the aesthetics, but I know the 1g block is usually better because of the dreaded C-Word.
