Swapping a F5MC1with a NV-T350

Hello all so I am Probly in the wrong area.

Here goes I have a 1995 gs n/t(420a). I looked in other posts and it looks simple to do. I have called up numerous tranny shops and they say it's not possible to mount the f5mc1 bell to the nvt350 And that it will not work in my car. It's a little confusing and frustrating, that they say it's not.

So before I spend some Money on this nvt350. My question is will it work, if I swap over the parts.

the gear case is the same, the bellhousing isnt. so yes the t350 case will bolt right up to the eclipse hydro bell housing

Awesome so the tranny shops don't know what there talking about.

So I know the nvt350 has a final of 3.55 and the f5mc1 has a 3.94. This is my daily commuter and it's mostly highway . What change would I see. Better top end? Better mpg? Basically what r pros and cons. Thanks again.

the t350s that have the 3.55 final drive are found on the single cam 2.0s. the dual cam neons,first gens, have the same final drive as the eclipse.
