Resolved Swapping 2g dash with 1g dash

I want to know if you can install the 1990-94 Eagle Talon dash and/or console, into a 95-98 Talon with both of them being a TSi AWD?

I like the 1g interior better and the 2g exterior for modification purposes.
Help me out!

WOW I can barely read that and it wouldn't be easy.

Not without heavy, heavy modification. The 2g is wider than the 1g and so the 1g dash would have big gaps on either side.

That definitely would not be a direct fit. Besides I think 2g interior is better 1g any day

ummm i prob wouldn't think so ....the layout is a lil different....maybe if you swaped out everything and bondo molded ....it might go thru...but....as far as i kno...i don't think so.... im not saying it can't be done but it won't be a direct fit if tthats what ## asking.... if u do decide to do it...put sum pics up ...im curious of how it might look..

Its is possible. Would be 100% custom, would require cutting, welding, and rewiring, and some custom filler work as the 2g is wider, and the 1g dash wouldn't quite fill it. You would have to mold it in with fiberglass, cf, or some other sort of filler.

not to mention the way you sit in a 1g s totally different then the 2g. The 1g is like a cockpit, the seat is lower, your feet are way more forward, on a 2g your a little more upright, more civilized for lack of a better word
