Is there a reason I would still need the TCU/TCM still? The swap was done before I bought the car, so I wasn't around to get the specifics. But it seems that it was a very professional and thorough swap. It appears there was a harness installed for the old Auto tranny plug and run thru the car, and the ECU was even replaced with one pulled out fo a 98 manual GST. So do I still need the TCU/TCM, or can I disconnect and remove it?
