1G Put 2qts in manual trans, still seems low?

91 Talon tsi awd mt. Changed the gear oil in the rear end, transfer case and tranny. After putting a full 2qts in the tranny it was still slightly below the bolt hole, is this normal? The manual says capacity is 2qts but to fill until it runs out, so do you guys normally add a little more or is the 2qts enough? Used Royal Purple 75-90 in the trans, and 80-90 Lucas in the rear end/xsfer case.

I believe it takes around 2.5 quarts if I remember correctly.

I put oil in until it runs out of the hole. 2 qts seems about right. One thing to keep in mind is if the front of the car was raised? Transmission needs to be level.

Yes, it takes more than 2qts fill it until it comes out the hole. Its supposed to be 2.4qt but may not take that much because it may not drain all the way.
