2G Swap srt-4

Hi there. I’m looking for some advice—I want to swap an SRT-4 engine and transmission into my 2G. I’d like to know what you recommend and what I should keep in mind to make the process less complicated. Thanks for the help.

I don't think there is anything that could be done to make it less complicated. The transmission and engine sits on an opposite side in the neons and calibers. Almost everything under the hood has to be changed. Custom subframe, lots of fabrication. If you want to be close to srt-4 displacement, just go full forged stroker kit.. it would be 10 times easier, and a lot cheaper. Plus more HP capable and you won't be breaking your shift forks on every gear shift like the rest of the srt-4 guys
