hey, flame me all you want for being a retarded 17 y/o with a fast car, but i hit a curb really bad in my 1g awd, and i bent up the lower control arm pretty bad, and im not sure if i damaged anything else, the car's wheel sits about 5 inches closer to the rear in the wheel well and has about a 45 degree positive camber, my questions is 1. is there any difference between the awd and fwd lower control arm , if not, will an N/A one work ? and another question, will a 2g fwd turbo lower controll arm work ? please help asap, i wanna fix my car !!!

I don't know if the arm from an N/A will work and you might not want to trust it anyhow since it may not be as strong as the original turbo design. I'm thinking the one from a FWD will work since the suspensions are very similar up front. Just to make sure, I would try and get in touch with someone like RRE who does a lot of suspension abuse on their own rally cars and see if they have ever done it in a pinch.

You also need to make sure there is no frame damage. I had a friend do that and he bent the frame slightly on his car.

Good Luck! Joe
