Summer Motor Rebuild Shopping List

Well I want to do a pretty much stock rebuild on my motor this summer. I want a somewhat reliable but yet faster than last year setup... This is my shopping list for just the motor so far, and I'm already over budget. I was thinking 2-2.5k max... This is way over that, and that's not even including fuel, turbo, tranny, t-case, driveline, guauges, dsm link, etc. So that's what I am coming to you guys for. I would just like to know if there are any changes you would make to my list to cut costs, or suggestions on mods.

Have you considered running these ebay valves? I have looked around on the forum and it seems like these valves are pretty good. I just ordered a set today. This will cut cost quite a bit.

why not get bc Valvesprings/Retainers less than 200.00

You can find Eagle Rods for $299 and I would just also get some forged piston. Then you will have a 500 +hp motor for just in case
