Alright i've pretty much got everything done as far as Stage 1, I'm just wondering what would be the most EFFECTIVE next step. A couple suggestions have been to upgrade my fuel system and get tunning equiptment.

I agree with that, my plans for that are to get GM MAF, Walbro Fuel Pump (i'm not sure exactly which one i should get, with stock turbo i'm not sure if i would need a 255) and then a FPR and bigger injectors? I was thinkin SAFC, but if i get GM MAF i can use that for simple tuning instead of having SAFC right?

I'm also looking to spend the least ammount of money possible, money is actually a big issue here since my first upgrades were kinda steep as far as my exhaust and everything.

Any help appreciated, thx.

You also have to ask yourself about how long the clutch has been in the car. You may want to upgrade that before doing more power/fuel upgrades.

You might as well pick up a fuel pump since they're butt cheap. Unless you're going with a larger turbo like a 20G or larger, a 190 should be plenty big enough. Personally, I've never heard of any common street car maxing out a 190 but I'm sure they're out there.

Some 550s will let you turn up the boost on that 14b but if you're going for a 16G or larger you'll want some 680s or maybe 720s. darkside racing has PTE 680s on sale for 295 shipped.

Clutch would be first on my list though if you haven't done that yet. :thumb:

ya i have an upgraded clutch in it, so thats not a problem, but ya i was focusing on more along the lines of fuel. I mean is that the right way to go right now? or should i focus on something else.

Ya i really dont have the money to upgrade my turbo right now, so i prolly wont need giant injectors, but i mean if i somehow come up with the money to upgrade the turbo i would prolly go big 16g or evo16g, or whichever is cheap and i would NOTICE the power difference, and in that case i would hate to upgrade injectors twice.

You guys have to help me out with the gm maf though, if i do that conversion will it add some decent power and also is it good way to basic tune the car?

It will add minimal power by freeing up the intake path. You might feel a difference. Most people say it increases spool up time(it did for me) so it'll make the car a little more fun to drive. The tuning aspect is nice though. Especially being able to tune by airflow rather than tps/rpm(SAFC). Much better for drivability in my opinion. At one point I had the blow thru MAFT and 650s while running a T-25 so you don't have to worry about not being able to use either without a turbo upgrade, everythings happy.

A 190 pump, 650s or 680s, and the blow thru GM MAF/MAFT will be a great upgrade and be able to support a evo 16G or even larger.
