Ideas on Next Step

I just wanted some opinions on what i should do next to my 95 GSX, What part to buy NEXT, and what turbo route to go. IM on a short budget, and all maintenance has been very neatly met.
Here is what i have so far:
Intake System (K&N)
SSAC 3" Turboback
MBC set to 15 PSI
Stock T-25(no shaft play at all)
120k miles on stock block
2g UICP w/1g BOV
Symborski Bushing Kit
Megan Racing short shifter with greddy counterweight knob
Boost,Airfuel,and volt Gauges

First off what are your goals for the car?

I knew i was missing something, sorry. My goals are right around 350-400 WHP as a daily driver.

EvoIII16g would be very nice, maybe a 20g. Wally 255 or equivalent. AFPR will be needed, some injectors, 760's? Or will he need higher? Get that lower intercooler pipe, FMIC or big sidemount or supra sidemount. Cams will help you greatly, port everything!!!

I'd say look into upgrading your fuel first. Bigger injectors and fuel pump.

A way to tune. AFC, dsmlink
Then I would go with a bigger turbo. 16G,18G,20G,50 trim. Would all be good turbo for your goals. I guess it just all depends when you want to hit full boost.

Do you already have the good EPROM ECU? Get a set of 750's, a fuelpump upgrade, and a chip, and start turning up the boost. What octane fuel do you have to work with? As others said, a good FMIC is always a great idea, as it will cool the intake temperatures, and allow you to safely run more boost. The EVO3 is a great turbo, but be sure to get the turbine/wastegate section ported to avoid creep.

The goal of 350-400HP with your current mods is a long way off. You should not even begin to worry about porting anything until you upgrade to a bigger turbo. A large SMIC will increase your intercooling while not increasing greatly the spoolup lag that you will have if you throw a FMIC on there right now.

Just how much of a budget are you on? An EVO16G turbo is very affordable, and will be able to get you alot more power, if you add a bigger fuel pump and injectors. If you go with the 190 LPH fuel pump, you will not have to worry about getting an aftermarket fuel pressure regulator, which will save you money.

I just did a little research, and Slowboy has some decent package deals for fuel and turbos. For about $2000 you would get an EVO3 exhaust manifold/o2 housing, EVO3 16G turbo, SAFC Neo, a Walbro fuel pump, and 650cc FIC injectors. Their kits also come with all the gaskets, bolts, and little things that one might forget when doing a turbo swap.
My advice would be to save up your money and go for something like that, if you are serious about those HP numbers.

16g or 20g, ss auto chrome fmic or fr speed fmic, bigger injectors, fuel pump, fpr, a way to tune like ds map or greddy e manage, down pipe and cat back and maybe some 272 cams, that should put you around 400horse if not more.

I would with a chip from dsmchips, keep your exhaust mani, and your 02 housing just port them. I would also get a superafc, a wally 190, an FMIC. An Evo3 16g ported. I would get 660 injectors. An afpr will help fine tune. A wideband 02 if you ain't got one yet. Tune it for about 20 psi.


All this could be had for around $1,200-+.

My friend has this exact setup, and his best time is mid 11's.
