Suggestions for painting stock wheels

Hey everyone. I'm going the cheap route here on wheels, so I decided to just paint my current wheels rather than just buy new ones. Also I just got brand new tires for my my stock wheels for free, so that definitely influenced my decision .
I'm thinking of four different options on color, but i'm open to suggestions.
1.) Gold http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-miscellaneous/221704-how-paint-stock-5-spoke-rims.html (this Color)
2.)Bronze
3.) Black with chrome lip
4.) Black with red lip

Ill put a poll to vote on, but also leave comments!

if you use just paint then brake dust will stick to it and be impossible to clean off, you can clear coat them like in that guide and it will help some. Personally i think gold/bronze looks great on red and black cars.

Gold rims on red cars looks sick! Thats the route I would take. post pics of the finished product when you finish. Im planning on painting my 2gb gsx wheels gun metal grey

yeah I'm leaning toward the gold myself, and I'll be sure to take pics of the finished product. Hopefully I'll get them done this weekend.

I just had my enkies powder coated black on my red 2g, looks great. I vote for black w/ polished lip.
