Good morning all!! I'm needing some suggestions for the 95 awd talon I've recently purchased. I got very lucky on it and was able to purchase it for $900. The guy I got it from thought the transmission went bad,its an auto, and didn't want to full with it. I pulled all the aftermarket ebay pipes that were on there and found numerous leaks and a hole patched with a pop can and duct tape. I replace the pipe with the one from my 1g tsi and problem solve, no shifting issues.

I'm looking for some suggestions on where to go from here. I don't want 400 or 500 hp, I'm looking at a realistic 325 or so, but I really want a great handling car. The roads here are very crooked and this is the first awd vehicle I have owned. Also, should I use any parts from my 1g? It has a larger turbo if I'm not mistaken and tube looking manifold LOL. Thanks guys, pics will be up tomorrow.

Same thing here. My PS pump sheared both hold down bolts that go to the motor mount and I was just about to get to tune at WOT. Now I am waiting on a different mount that is a good one, so mine has been down all week when I could have been tuning and possibly going to the track for the first time.....I'm trying to be patient. Really, a break from working on it has been a good thing for me, it makes me anxious to get it going again. My son is in the same boat as his header on his new engine decided to split at a seam so his is down for a short period and was just breaking the engine in. We are both a little down because our cars are down.

Yeah man, I woke up this morning, saw the clouds and thought for sure it'd rain all day. Well, it rained half the day and I've been laid up under the car on wet gravel all afternoon. Still better than working LOL.

IMO anything you do or decide on doing with this build make sure you get what you really want straight from the get go haha! No use in havering to spend money on parts twice unless your breaking stuff. Suspension though I'd recommend full coilovers. Can be a little pricey but being able to fine tune was always important to me.
