Whats up my name is Kevin and I'm from nc. I just picked up a 92 laser rs. Pretty much as a project car. I'm coming from the subaru world and still have a 04 wrx also. I have pretty much no knowledge of the 4g motors, but; I'm hoping this fourm will help me with the project .

The laser I picked up is a stock motor car. Comes with a ported and polished head that I have to put on. Also comes with a hx35 turbo. I'll have to pick up a few odds and ends but hope to have the car running soon. I'll be doing alot of research on the Dsm world. Hope to make it out to some meets and see some of you guys at upcoming events!!

Got the car cleaned up a little bit today. Going to order some springs and retainers and some stainless steel valves before I get ready to swap the ported head on. Then Im going to get a synaps bov and wastegate to put on it. Might take a little bit longer to get it running but I prefer to do it right with quality parts. Looking to get motion lab tuning in charlotte nc or hismotorsports in hickory nc to tune it for me. If anybody has any experience with any of these shops tuning their cars feel free to share your thoughts!

Haha. Thanks! Nothing that I haven't experienced before. Just downloaded the service manual and going to go through that and do some extensive researching.
