I've been making some good progress but I hit a road block. I was removing the front sub frame and had 1 stud start spinning on me. The other 5 came out fairly easy. So what are my options on getting the last but off, obviously I could cut into the frame to access the top of the bolt but I'm hoping you guys have a better solution. Also how are these studs held from spinning? They move up and down a little so I'm assuming there is square weleded on top to keep it from spinning in the frame?

Yes there is a slot in the frame that holds the studs/bolts. Have you tried an impact gun? Cutting into the body may be your only viable option if the impact doesn't work. Other options are to cut a slot in the stud to fit a wrench or to grind the point down and drill a hole up in through the center of the bolt to hold it with an easy-out. I would try the impact and pulse the impact gun first. Any other option would require replacing that stud.

Another option is to find a spot close to the bolt that you can drill a hole and if you have a welder spot weld the bolt to the frame inside so it won't spin. Then you still have to fix the hole you drilled.

Well that's pretty much what I did, I opened up a small window in the fram and expose the sleeve. Then I drilled a 1/4 hole through the sleeve and slightly into the bolt. Filled it up with weld, got the nut off and welded the window close.
