Okay simple question for those who know Injectors....

Will Injectors out of a 04 WRX work in a 2g 4g63?

he says something about getting them tweaked to flow up to 750's and would sell them cheap. I told him i'd fire the question on dsmtuners cause this place is the s*#&!

Sooo thanks guys!

You need to find out if they are low impedance or not?
Also you may have to get larger or smaller spacers/bolts for the fuel rail depending on the size of the actual injector. Pics i've seen of them, they appear longer than dsm injectors.
In my opinion, i wouldn't bother and just get something that you know will work. Used injectors are all over the place for our car at good prices

Subies are low impendance.

But like OP stated you can get em cheap that are for our cars. Hell I got new 750s for $200

I know WRX injectors can be modified to flow over 700cc for sure

I just don't know how and you would have to have them flow matched to correctly know if they are done right and within cc's of each other. Imagine trying to find the correct dead time and everything on link for that

There ya go now your on the right track. He said he'd sale me the injectors for almost nothing and i was trying to find out if they would work. He said he can have them sent off to be modified to flow in the 700's and that's more than enuf for what i'm using. I agree on buying a used set for cheap but i don't want to be screwed. There is no return deal on a yard sale.

Anyhow if the answer is yes ill send those babies off. if not i'll be looking for new 650's.

Thanks for the info so far!

Honestly, I would play it safe and just buy new injectors. Trying to "see if it'll work" in your car just seems like a bad idea to me. I guarantee no one else has ever tried this, so the possibilities of anyone knowing for sure is slim. Just buy new injectors.

even if they did work, im not sure how reliable an injector would be when its been modified for twice its factory output. and if something like an injector fails, theyre kind of a pain in the ass to diagnose correctly. just spend the extra couple hundred bucks and get a new, correct unit.

Back from the dead, did anybody find out if the physically fit. My buddy just finished a build with 1700s on his sti and they are not enough, so I could get a good deal. I'm looking to swap in a fp black on e so I need a injector upgrade.
