subaru exhaust?

i have a 90 talon tsi fwd... and i dont dislike the N1 or other exhaust sounds, but they are a lil to ricey for me... i was wondering if it would be possible to make my talon sound like a subaru with an aftermarket exhaust, really really deap... is it in the muffler that this sound comes from? could i simply get a subaru muffler and have custom piping done? or is it within subarus engines where this deep sound originates?

its the flat four that has that sound not the exhaust. Get an Magnaflow or Dynomax muffler with custom piping. Or you can get a Thermal R&D it is a small division of Magnaflow and they make an exhaust for DSMs that sounds better than any Japanese Exhaust on the market

Check your local muffler shops. The good ones can get you just about any tone you want.
