Stupid Vacum hose question

I have both my bov and wastegat getting their vacum signal from my intake manifold. I was reading that the wastegate should have a vacum signal coming from the charge pipe before the throttlebody. Is it wrong to use nipples off the intake manifold to supply boost/vacum signal to my BOV and wastegate?

You're supposed to use the manifold.

and check out their vaccum diagrams. That should answer any question you have now, or in the future if you plan to get rid of some of that crap.

I have read the taboo article. I also have read the tial install diagram. The tial says to take the boost source from in front of the throttle body.

yes, you can take it from there. It is all vaccum. I have my car set up exactly like the race diagram at taboo. It works perfectly fine for me. I have all of my throttle body nipples capped off. The left intake nipple goes to the BOV and the boost controller, the right nipple on the intake goes to my afpr and boost gauge.
