help !!!!!!!!!! stupid heater hose.

so i grounded my battery cable going to the trunk on my top heater hose.(don't ask) and it put A HOLE THE SIZE OF A PENNY IN IT!!!!! can i just replace the hole heater hose and how much will it cost me. do i have to pull the motor? can i patch it some how?

I'm a bit confused with battery cable and trunk and heater hose.

Depending on access, you could just cut the hose and install a splice with clamps or one of those yellow flushing fittings if you have room. You can make a splice from a 3" length of copper pipe or tubing, you can use a tapered socket that will fit inside the copper and give it a smack or so with a wooden block/plastic hammer. Do this to both ends, this will give you a slight flair so it can't slip off under pressure, use the mini clamps for they better conform to the hose radius if you aren't ready to replace the whole hose.

i lied it was the egr hose and i bought one from the dealership for 60+ bucks. thanks though

Gosh, I would have thought when no water came out that would have been a clue. Still for $3 you could have fixed it.

Try to be more accurate when describing problems for obviously it makes a big difference when people try to help you.

Had you gone to the hardware store and bought a short length of copper pipe, cut the hose at the damaged spot and done what I suggested... $3-$5 at best.
