Stupid question about COP setup, and eprom

Hey guys, im having an issue with my car, usually id be able to figure this out, but im having a brain fart.
Here the two key factors of my setup
Coil on plug plate
95 Eprom with DSMlinkv3full
In a 99 GSX

When i swapped my eprom to my 99gsx, i did have to trade the plug wires places, but now i cant do that, because there is a cop setup there. However you guessed it now that i have the COP plate is on, it wont start. I know it runs with the plate, because i put my 99 ecu back in, and it ran perfect.

I tried unchecking, and rechecking the box in ecmlink for the "use non 95/96 cam sensor" And this did nothing. It pops and backfires, so there is for sure spark.

Do i need to redo the wiring for the COP setup, or am i just missing something with dsmlink?

Yes, you need to redo the signal wiring for the coil pack. That will be the same thing as swapping plug wires.

Read the tech article i helped my buddy put COP on his car and its accully quite easy. His issue was without upgraded ignition the factory one wouldnt recover fast enough between spark though.
