If it's off that much then the sensor's bad. When it's bad tells the computer it's -77 degrees out so it literally POURS fuel into the engine and just floods it out.
Try starting it with your foot partway down on the gas pedal. Not all the way, just 1/4 to 1/2 throttle and see if it chugs/starts. First get the fuel out of the engine by pulling the MPI fuse and cranking the engine, put the fuse back in and then do the what I stated.

thats why ive been stumped. but its a project car and i have a panel to the right of me with extra electronics on it. i got this car as a rolling chasis with pedals, one seat and a tranny and reaer end where the passenger seat should be. no wiring and tried making some harnesses work ### i couldnt find any. so i just wired my pump up with a switch not have to get a harness fpr the rear of the car. im guessing you can get that sensor at advanced for 8 dollars?
so il keep you guys updated on what happens.
