So I stripped 2 oil pan holes.

Timing belt side, the ones that go into the aluminium.

What should I do? Tap and bigger bolts?

What size tap / bolt should I use? M7 or M8?

I ended up using helicoils which worked out.

When I reinstalled the pan I used large washers on the oil pan bolts to spread the force of the bolts allowing the pan to be tight without warping it. Worked great.
