read the other threads about stripped studs and heli coil them to fix the issue. what about if the heli coil fails and the stud has once agin broke loose from the head? i did not do the heli coil a shop did it. should i try to re heli coil it in again or use jb weld or some kind of hardener to fill the stripped hole and hope it holds?

Jb weld will not in any way work for something like this. If the helicoil is pulling out than it wasn't installed correctly. You likely won't be able to re helicoil it because the threads cut to hole the coil in there will be gone. You can always open it up and tap it for a 10x1.25 stud, i've had to do that a few times.

Time-sert seems to be a good fix for your problem. They also have a specific insert for stripped holes that had a previous helicoil. Kind of pricey, you can find it cheaper on Amazon.

This is a better way to go then a heli coil. Glad it worked out well for you, broken bolts can be a real pain.
