Hey guys I just need to figure out how to fix this problem.

A) Retap and put fatter bolt in

B) Have it filled and retapped

C) Drill out the holes on the turbo charge outlet and run the bolts through it

I pulled all of these fixes from the Net but no one said how the end result was.
Please let me know if have any advice.

Don't fill it, just retap the damn thing with a 8 x 1.25 tap.

Ok ....I went on my lunch break and tapped it to one size bigger and bolted it up then I took the other AC fan I had and swapped it for the cooling fan. I hope it works ... I got a fluidyne Radiator so hopefully it works it's self out, well atleased until i get a slim fan. I RTVed the crap out of it and put in a new metal gasket so maybe I fixed it but I didn't have time to test drive it ...my lunch ended too soon.... man my work must think I'm nuts for taking apart my car in the parking lot like once a week :thumb:

Well so far so good, I took if for a 1 minute test drive to see if would boost and it did. Sooo maybe it's fixed LOL I'll know when I'm on the freeway at 10 tonight heading home from work. I just hope my new shop isn't on the side of the freeway with a LED flashlight and a pack of smokes.

This is pretty interesting, so I put the AC fan in the place of the coolant fan so gain some room between the turbo and the fan (fits perfect) and there is no differance as far as engine cooling. My question is, did I just do something super ghetto and no one does it except for the one guy I found on a forum or is it just an automatic solution to buy a slim fan and never giving the AC fan a thought? I know alot of us like AC but I for one don't really mind not using it, so it's really not a burden.
