my biss screw is completely stripped and i cant get it out i think its causing an idle surge or what i think is an idle surge when i stop my car goes from 1500 to 2000 rapidly then drops and keeps doing it as if im free revving it. so 2 questions: is that an idle surge and could my biss screw be the problem and to drill out the biss to remove it is that a wise decision or is there an alternative to get that sob out

The ISC motor is more likely the candidate. Just take your throttle body off and be careful as you get the screw out a new screw, o-ring and cap can be bought for 15.00 shipped from vendors here (I got mine from STM).

yeah i found the screw just wanted to make sure if im gonna place an order might as well get everything at once and the isc is most likely the problem or is there a back up that i sould get too in case it continues to do this

Is he on any of the DSM forums?

Yes! This one.

Wow, I know what i'm doing every night for the next week or two LOL

Every one of his vids are like 10 min long :ohdamn:

Very informative and indepth, he deserves a raise!

I know the videos are long by many people's standards, but can cover anywhere between an hour and a half to 30 hours of video footage in that time. Just think of me having to import multiple 85 minute tapes in real-time after each shoot, exporting each one at least 3x after the edit to speed it up to 125x (can only do 5x at a time), then exporting something that youtube recognizes, and then uploading each 1.5-2GB file. The Making the Left One Watch video was 2.3TB of footage start-to-finish and took 3 weeks to shoot. When drag racing season is underway, the videos get MUCH much shorter... :)

I don't charge anything, and 2 years + thousands of hours spent editing 1080i video from tape have earned me a whopping $43, of which I've seen $0. I'd be doing it anyway, so might as well make the videos. I just want you guys to fix your cars so they don't end up in the scrap heap! :thumb:

Edit: Besides? What are people doing when they're surfing YouTube anyway? They dang sure ain't out workin' on their cars...
