So I'm looking at a fairly clean mostly stock 1999 GST. The only mods on it are a cat back and pod filter and some ebay bov (it is properly recirculated). Anyway the car drives fine and idles fine until operating temperature. At operating idle it has trouble finding idle and stutters out and dies quite easily. I used evoscan to activate the actuator (speed adj screw) and the car could not hold its idle. I checked the biss screw and it is completely screwed in, but the head has been destroyed. I was unable to turn it with any screwdriver or pliers. The kid told me the idle wasn't perfect and in attempt to lower it a bit a friend told him to fully screw in the biss. So does anyone have any tips to get the screw loosened? I told him I would buy the car if I could get that screw turning, if not I want him to knock off the sum for a new throttle body (I know I can get it out but I'd rather just get a new one). Sorry for the long winded post, thanks guys.
