Pretty much wraps up where the evo sits right now. I added a carbon fiber spark plug cover from APR, very nice piece. And I have a carbon fiber lip from seibon , to be installed in the spring.

A few yrs ago I landed a new job. Something that would require me to drive in all types of weather. I had a rsx-s as a daily driver. But if the snow was really bad here in CT , I rather have something that would make sure I got to work. After brainstorming something that would be fun and reliable it was a no- brainer for me. My local Subaru dealer had a beautiful 2017 red STI sitting out front. I called in regards to it and they told me they still had it. I went the next day and when I got to the dealership, the sti wasnt sitting up front anymore. They told it , it sold that morning. Was so bummed to hear it. They had another limited sti but it was wingless. I'm all about the wing. They suckered me into a 2017 fully loaded wrx. Car was a mistake.

Interesting choice. I've never seen those before.

There GTS II's. There an oldie but goody seat. I didnt want anything modern. Wanted something from the era of the eclipse. There leather bolsters then suede in the middle. Leather seats burn with the top down if you park it. Wonder if anyone wants the gst leather seats LOL. There in amazing condition.

Back to the sti. After the 1k mile break in, I started the mods. Already had the borla exhaust. So then added a mishimoto front mount intercooler kit with intake. Cobb catted downpipe , cobb accessport, DW fuel pump and radium catch cans.

Ran into a small hiccup that couldve been catastrophic on the DSM. Had the fuel pressure regulator installed on my eclipse. Noticed an odor of gas when I was driving it home. Didn't think much of it at first because they just worked on the fuel system. Next day I start it and again I get this huge smell of gas. Text my mechanic and he says dont drive it till he looks at it. I popped the hood and I'm looking around. Seems pretty dry. I start the car to give a look see and by the fuel rail its pissing gas.. My mechanic comes over and takes it apart and the o ring provided by Maperformance was just a regular o ring, not gas resistant. It was almost completely eaten away. Got a new o ring and the leak is no more. If you buy the dsm kit from Maperformance check that o ring. Post a pic for reference .
