Strange Smoking Problem

When im accelerating everything is fine. When i let off the gas to come to a stop loads of whitish bluish smoke pour out of my tailpipe and it smells like oil. I thought maybe my turbo oil seals are bad but the turbo has only 17000 miles on it since it has been rebuilt. The only thing is that the turbo sat around for 2 - 3 years before it was put on my car. (it was rebuilt drivin with on another car, sat around, then i got it). I can't figure out why its only when im not on the gas.

Your valve seals are going bad, it only happens when you are off the gas in decel because you are under vaccum. The vaccum is pulling small amounts of oil past the seals and burning it. My friends GSX has the same problem with only 60k on it. How many miles are on your car?

Yup I had the same problem on my 7bolt.

my car has 130000 on it. What would be ways to correct this problem? I don't have alot of cash and i sure as heck don't want to get rid of my car.

Yup happen to my old talon. Sounds like the same problem I was having. I would def check the valve seals.

Time for a rebuild. Shop around for your parts to get best prices! (I got some gaskets/parts from Dodge because it was cheaper for the Talon than the Eclipse even though it's same engine.)
