Strange buzzing sound - safe to drive??

I shut off my car this morning when I got to work and began hearing a loud buzzing sound coming from the center console. I've noticed a 'click' noise for awhile now but didn't think much of it and I guess it's evolved into this 'buzz'. Anyway, I searched tuners and found out that it's probably coming from the ecu. It went away once I turned on the car and the engine seemed to start up just fine. I did notice some shaking while I gave it some gas. It wouldn't go away so I've disconnected the battery. It's sitting in my office parking lot as I type this. I'm going to have it checked out this weekend probably, but I have one question:

Is it safe to drive for the next few days?
