Vancouver,
I am currently running with a stock cat and one resonator in my exhaust system, but I find it to be too quiet and restricting. I was thinking of taking out the cat and just running a straight 3" inch pipe all the way to the muffler. But if I remember correctly, isn't there a sensor right after the cat ? Would it be ok just to get rid of that ? I don't care about a CEL, I already have one. ;)

You should be ok after getting rid of it. I have no cat and i have no rear o2 sensor plugged in and i have nothing to report, besides a lil extra power and some added 4g63 growl.

agreed. No problems here either.

I have a 2.5" turbo back to straight pipe (takes place of cat, straight through pipe), that's 3" back to my exhaust.... my exhaust is a magnaflow (with 3" tip), sounds like a deisel, im getting a 4.5" tip hopefully this week.
