montreal,
hey guys i just wanted to post up my story of my rebuild i think it very intresting.
at start when i was rebuilding my car i had just enough money. the rebuilt was cause by spund bearing and damaged the crankshaft rellly badly.so i bought a new crankshaft new 1 g rod and new 2g piston tho the store i brought it took rip me off so baddly that it wasnt funnie i had to get the rod bore to fit the piston at first they said 270 dollar but i didnt have enough at that time and only bored this rods. then i got a fat ticket and lost my license and the ticket was 720 dollars and lost my license and before that the car was sitting for about a few months, waiting for the summer to come to work on it and after that it was sitting for another few months finnaly i got to sell my winter car and had enough to do the piston again and at that time i only bored the rod for 90 buck but had to also do the pisons for it to have some free play and they charged me 293 dollar but i had to do it i had no where else to go .when i was puting the car together i was short on money so i had to put the block in by a floor jack and using my strengh to stick it into the aliment wich took my 3 hours but wen i got it in i was very happy and i never gived up. i also put the piston in and the ring by hand with out any tool but this take two people my dad helped me out with that.then finally i started to reinstall all the parts and came to a point done. this was the best part of the day wen i had everything back together next thing u noe i poured coolant into the engine it freakin leaks i thought i didnt tighten it hard enough so i took the belts off and the timeing case next thing u noe the water pumps a goner so im gonna get a new one tommorow and let u guys noe and ill post up all the pictures that i did i also painted the car my self so dont be making fun of me but i love it i never had a better feeling i havnt gotten to start my car yet but hopefully it turns out well i puted my heart and soul into fixing this bad boy my cars name is the black thunder and here everything i did to the car and have on my car still need lots it nearly stock .
