Storing a used turbo

I just pulled the turbo off my car which hasn't been run since january and I'm wondering what, if anything, should be done to preserve this turbo for future use. It's probably going to be sitting in my basement for a long time before it is put back into use again.

id remember to plug up the inlet and outlets and oil and cooling lines...

Would it help the bearings to fill with clean oil?
