With all these SRT races and vids running around, i have never heard how they really stack up. How do you think a stock SRT4 would hold against a stock GSX? What about with mild mods to both? hmm...

I think, No way. I own a 98 GSX that was bone stock once upon a time. I have a couple of friends, one has a 03' SRT, the other a 04 SRT. I went to the track when my GSX was bone stock. 14.99 @ 88 mph. Both of my friends were getting 14.5-14.8's all night trapping 96-97-98. Stock for stock a SRT will pull it out.

Mild vs. Mild.

Been there done that. GSX. Boost controller, full exhaust, FP rewire, open elelment air filter, UICP w/ 1G bov, T25 turbo nailed for everything its got @ 18-20 psi.

SRT. Bigger exhaust, turbo back. Aftermarket BOV, aftermarket intake pipe, intercooler sprayer, drag radials.

GSX ran 13.88 @ 96
SRT ran 14.20 @ 102

thats my experience with your question.

Now, my car has went 13.21 @ 103
SRT guys car is always broken.
My car still going.

Hope that cleared it up for you.

Stock vs stock the SRT-4 will win hands down. We're talking high 13s stock vs 15.0 stock. With mild mods on the GSX and a stock SRT-4 its still close. Anything after that just depends on too much.

I've seen a couple of srt4s go low low 14s stock. Then a few with mods go into the 13s. It all depends on driver. Stock for stock, the srt4 weighs less and has more hp. It also has a bigger motor and bigger turbo. But we are know talking about awd vs fwd.
