this isnt a pedal question. i was just wondering how everyone like the stock shifter?, i think its ok, but ive been thinking about a razo 340gram counter weight shifter, does anyone have a shi=fter like this? if so how do you like the counter weight, is it true that it makes shirting feel easier, then a light aftermarket shifter? sorry bout getting off topic.
Cheers all:D

Physics dictates that the counterweight knob will make shifting a bit easier for you and many members here will agree with physics. Probably the best thing you can do to ease your shifting woes is to grab either the Razo or GReddy counterweight and get the metal shifter bushings to replace your stock rubber pieces.

Since you've got a 1G, your shifter resembles a phallus anyway, so why not get a normal looking shift knob? :D

The best thing for shifter "feel" is to replace the bushings, both on the shifter base and also on the cable ends at the tranny. Next would be to replace the shifter itself with a B&M or equivalant knockoff that has the roller bearings inside instead of the stock "tube on pin" setup.

You will wonder why you did not do this sooner!

I just did the skateboard bearing and bushing under the hood and the shift plate and I love it. They made a great difference. I also have a short throw from ebay so this may make a little difference but it will still make a great differnece. Good luck.

Thank you guys for the tips. Definately greatly needed, since Im selling my Talon for an AWD Talon, I'll do all this on the new Talon.
Cheers all:D:D
