I have a 90 gsx and it has factory security on it. It went off once last nite for no reason and then while I was at work went off so I unlocked and locked it and it went of again with in a minute then did it again so I had to take the positive cable off. I have no idea what is setting it off. How can I disable the security system til I can figure out the problem. I need to find out asap cause it keeps going off and driving me crazy. Thanks

Which fuse do I take out? Ill plug the box back in. Thanks

According to my tech manual, there are three of 'em.

Fuse 10 controls: Horn, headlight relay, theft-alarm control unit
Fuse 11 controls: Auto-cruise control unit, auto-cruise control actuator, automatic seatbelt control unit, theft-alarm control unit, combination meter, warning light, seatbelt timer
Fuse 14 controls: Theft-alarm horn relay

Having never had to remove these fuses before, I'm not sure which one(s) can be left in place, or if they all need to be removed...but hopefully this will help in your quest. :)

Mine was doing the same thing. Before you decide to disable it, try adjusting the switches that are setting it off. Mine was the one under the hood. I just grabbed it and bent it up a little so the switch would push in the whole way. That fixed it for me.

I have the same problem. My alarm is going of for no reason very often and it is getting annoying. Can anyone say where all the pins are and how to check them? Thanks.
